This was from the early days when the ANB was off trying to accomplish the organizing and working to secure the rights, liberties, and opportunities other people in Alaska Already had. The ANS would work diligently and hard to raise the funds to help the ANB be successful in their mission.

The ANS give support lifting the ANB up to do what they needed to do. The old ANS Constitution Article I states: The purpose of this organization is to complete the organization of the ALASKA NATIVE BROTHERHOOD and thus aid in the fight for the progress of better citizenship, pure lives, a complete education for our children, and for business independence.
